Solar Panels in Sarawak: Questions We Get Asked
Does Solar ATAP apply in Sarawak?
No. Solar ATAP is for TNB customers in Peninsular Malaysia. Sarawak has its own NEM scheme under Sarawak Energy, and applications go in through a contractor registered with Sarawak Energy.
Can I add a battery under Sarawak's NEM scheme?
Not under the scheme. NEM in Sarawak is for solar PV without any energy storage. A battery system is a separate installation outside NEM.
Do you cover Miri and Bintulu?
Yes. We install across Sarawak, including Sibu, Bintulu, Miri and Limbang. Send your location on WhatsApp to arrange a site visit.
How long does installation take?
Typical residential installation takes 1-3 days depending on system size and roof complexity. Commercial installations may take 1-2 weeks. We schedule installations to minimize disruption to your daily routine.
Do solar panels damage my roof?
No. Professional installation actually protects the area under the panels from direct sun and rain. We use certified mounting systems with waterproof brackets. Our team conducts a thorough roof assessment before installation to ensure structural integrity.
What warranty do you provide?
Our solar panels come with 25-year performance warranty and 10-year product warranty. Inverters carry 5-10 year warranty depending on the model. We also offer optional extended maintenance packages.
